I must have approached too close to the nest because I was repeatedly dive bombed until I left the area. It seems to me that this osprey knew the tactic of attacking out of the sun, much like a World War One fighter pilot.

strictly cool shot... :D
we have a milan (=kite) in our neighbourhood, during summer i see him almost every day... he loves to fly across our garden and look down at me exactly like the "biggles" here... unfortunately i don't have the photographic gear to take such a nice shot of him... but - hmmm - i managed to get this...

You would need at least a 200mm zoom to frame your kite, I was lucky that my osprey approached so closely. Thank you for your comment. =)
